Welcome to the sugarlabs Moodle, the place to store your online lesson plans and courses. The Course categories have been sectioned off into what seem the most logical areas, but if there are any inconsistencies, please contact schools@sugarlabs.org.
You can enrol to courses by registering for a new account. Though most courses are public, being available to anyone requiring open content for their particular purpose, private courses are also listed and will be accessible via the username and password you were assigned by the system administrators, and possibly an enrollment key.

There is more to computers and processors than simply PCs. In fact computers are ubiquitous in everyday life.
Communication networks are used to transfer valuable and confidential information for a variety of purposes. As a consequence, they attract the attention of people who intend to steal or misuse information, or to disrupt or destroy the systems storing or communicating it.
Headline news scares about stolen or missing data are becoming a frequent occurrence as organisations rely more and more heavily on computers to store sensitive corporate and customer information. This unit discusses the importance of protecting information and gives an overview of information security management systems.
This material introduces the first steps in modelling a software system. Software development is made up of phases, which are often organised into cycles.
This unit will help you to understand the forms of data that are handled by software and look at the various processes that can be applied to the data.
